What score do I actually need for nursing or medical registration?
It depends on your regulator, but the NMC (UK), HSE, and most Australian and New Zealand bodies ask for a Grade B (roughly 350) in every one of the four sub-tests — not just an average across them. Check your specific regulator’s current requirement before you book, since these do get revised.
How long does OET preparation online usually take?
Most working nurses and doctors we coach need somewhere between four and eight weeks, depending on their starting Writing and Speaking level and how much time they can realistically put in around shifts.
Is OET coaching online as effective as an in-person class?
For OET specifically, yes — the exam itself moved to allow computer-based sittings, and the coaching that matters most (letter correction, role-play feedback) works just as well over video call as it does in a classroom.
Can nurses and doctors train in the same batch?
